This "little spa that could" delivers excellent treatments. Get a facial with Irena, she's the best. And the setting is so Zen, you don't feel like you're in Brooklyn!
I came in for a 60 minute massage with Iris. She was WONDERFUL. Perfect pressure and pacing; I hardly had to say a word. One of the best, most exquisitely relaxing and rejuvenating massages I have ever had. The general atmosphere is also truly lovely and well appointed. I will definitely be going back!
What a pleasant surprise . . .a real "Day Spa" in Park Slope. Excellent customer service up front, clean & beautiful dressing and lounging areas. Massage by Iris was fantastic, Facial by Irena was amazing as well. Both technicians were skilled and knowledgeable.
I will definitely be returning.
This place is simply wonderful. from the moment i walk in the door, i feel like i've been transported far far away from the hustle bustle of city life. everything about the whole spa is soothing-- the calm friendly front desk staff, the lighting, the cucumber- or lemon-infused water, the little snacks all around, the soft music and candles, the waiting areas, the showers. and oh my god the massage. i've had so many here, and i have almost never had a therapist i didnt think was wonderful. they are skilled, professional, quiet, respectful, and attuned. in the winter the tables have heated pads on them-- such a luxury!! you get your pick of essential oil (if you want it), and the room is super peaceful and comfortable. after the massage i usually spend some time in the sauna. yes, its small, but boy does it do the job! and when you've had your shoulders hunched up for weeks and are cold to your bone marrow, it just makes everything right again. then it's off the the incredibly well-appointed locker room to shower. again, it may be small, but it's got every amenity you might be looking for. they make you feel taken care of by truly thinking of everything you might need. all i can say is, GO. book it today. you will not regret it! :) p.s. some reviewers thought the prices were high. i actually think its a bargain for the quality and the experience (especially if you show up half an hour early and hang out in the peaceful waiting areas and read). BUT-- if you sign up for their email list, you get notice of specials relatively often, and i always buy a couple of massages at that time. great discounts to boot!
I found d'mai urban spa and facial thru yelp came here for my bridal facial. It was amazing, this place is like a hidden heaven in park slope!!! I love everything inside, decoration, design and of course their professional aesthetician. My face is glowing afterward ;)
A lovely, intimate, quiet space, exactly what I like. Stephanie and Faina gave my wife and I an excellent couples massage and made us feel completely relaxed. We look forward to going back for other treatments and enjoying the tranquility this place offers. Highly recommended.
One of my most favorite spas in New York and my absolute favorite in Brooklyn. As soon as you enter, your stress starts to melt away and all of your senses are engaged with each step further into the spa. I remember being enveloped in a sea of blues and greens and having different infused waters. The atmosphere really forces you to relax. I used the steam room and that was also really relaxing. I felt like there was no rush and time stood still. I had a male masseuse and he was very informative and really gave me an excellent massage. I love that it's tucked on a busy street because by the time they are done with you, you leave feeling serene and recharged. The city doesn't bother you for the rest of the night. That's a great feat.
